\"Poker\" <\/p>\n

Poker is a card game that is played by two or more people. Each player places a bet, known as an ante, and then bets into a pot in the center of the table. The player with the best hand wins the pot. The betting is usually done clockwise. After making an initial bet, a player has three options: to raise the amount, fold their hand, or call the bet.<\/p>\n

The player who opens the pot must show a Jack or a better pair. If the player has another pair of cards, he or she can hide them from the other players. In a forced bet, the player must show the Jack or better. Otherwise, he or she must drop his or her bet.<\/p>\n

A tie is broken when more than one person has a pair of two or more cards, or if they have a straight or three of a kind. If a hand has two different suits, the higher pair wins. If a hand does not have a pair, a tie is broken by a higher unmatched card.<\/p>\n

Poker is played by groups of players on a circular table or oval board. A game of poker can have up to eight people. The initial dealer is chosen by shuffled cards. The highest-ranking player wins the pot. Alternatively, a player can win the pot by making a bet that no other player calls.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
